Waiver and Understanding:

I realize there are significant risks, both known and unknown, associated with volunteering in this event and that I should not volunteer unless I am medically able. I further agree to abide by any decisions of race officials about my ability to safely volunteer.  I agree to follow the instructions outlined by race officials regarding my volunteer assignment.


In consideration of your accepting this request to volunteer, I hereby for myself, my heirs and executors, waive and release any and all claims that I may have against any and all persons and organizations affiliated with this event, including but not limited to the North Carolina Ultra Running Association, Race Management, Umstead State Park, race volunteers and all race sponsors while participating and traveling to or from the 2025 Umstead 100 Mile Endurance Run.

Further, I grant permission to all the foregoing to use my name and images of myself in any photographs, results, publication or any other print, video graphic or electronic record of this event for legitimate purposes.

I have read and understand this waiver and take sole and complete responsibility for my participation as a volunteer for the 2025 Umstead 100 Mile Endurance Run.
